For a theatrical dance experience

NewStage Dance Company (NSDC), based in Lexington, MA, is a diverse group of adult women whose roots formed in 2005 as a community theater dance company called The Lexington Women’s Dance Ensemble.  Coming from different dance backgrounds and training, this group - past the point of childhood recitals - formed for the purpose of performing in an annual adult dance production.  Because of their shared passion, commitment, and desire to perform year round, NewStage Dance Company was born in 2008.  NewStage Dance Company seeks to inspire and motivate other like-minded women who see no need to stop dancing because of age or “appropriateness”.  Under the direction of Wendy Costello, these women create, rehearse, and perform original works of choreography in all styles of dance - in pure multi-tasking woman form – while managing busy homes, families and careers.  The group is ever changing, as is every stage of life - and each new stage holds the desire to dance.
